"People seem to either love or hate the pork chop sandwich. Put me in the former group - not many tastier things have crossed my lips._Went on a Monday early in 2020 and they were closed. Some of the folks in the neighboring stores told us that this is something new they've started for the winter (after Christmas), so call ahead if you can. Couldn't find this info posted anywhere else, so hoping this helps someone."

"I have driven 2 hours just to go to Mt. Airy and to Snappy's at least twice. A neighbor told me to "just take the pork chop sandwich the way they offer it, don't take anything off or add anything, it is wonderful." And wow, was he right. It was the best sandwich I have ever tasted in my life. Toasted (Texas?) bread with a flattened grilled portk chop, chili, cole slaw, tomato, I think that was it. Absolutely delicious, not to mention it was $3.75. We ordered extra sandwiches "to go" and happily drove 2 hours to take them home. I just hope this place does not close any time soon!_The Barney's patrol car tour was a riot also, for $25 a carload. Not to be missed."
