"First-time visit to Mt. Airy and HAD to try the "World Famous" pork chop sandwich (even purchased a tee shirt for bragging rights for the folks back home). When in Rome... Needless to say, it lived up to the hype and was a GREAT sandwich worthy of its title. Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this an ideal spot to rest after a day of shopping and sightseeing."

"Came to Mount airy to visit "Mayberry" and the Andy Griffith museum. Was told by my Airbnb host to visit this place to try the pork chop sandwich. It was worth the drive. Highly recommend trying the sandwich. 5 out of 5 stars! One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten."

"I was hoping for a sandwich that looks like the painting on the wall with gobs of coleslaw and two huge tomatoes slices. The portions of chili and coleslaw were small. The flavor was great."
