"I have never ate at a restaurant that has crushed all three categories with 5 stars. It’s starts with the atmosphere. If you’re old enough to remember black and white tv shows, or even love nostalgia, you will not want to pass this little place up.
This small but cozy little restaurant is full of Andy Griffin memorabilia and the walls lines with old time photos. The booths surround the service station which allows the servers to keep a close eye on their customers.
The service was nothing short of amazing. Lisa waited on me and I was never left needing anything. She was super friendly which in fact everyone was. Even the kitchen staff, when out on the floor maintained a smile and engaged the customers in a super friendly manner.
The food! I swear I felt like my grandmother has just made me breakfast back in the late 70’s. I ordered the egg and bacon biscuit sandwich. It was twice the size of any of those nasty chain restaurants and were as fluffy as the clouds on a clear spring day. The bacon was crisp and hanging over the edges. The egg was perfectly cooked, fluffy and still steaming. I like to try numerous items from the menu anywhere I go and my second choice was one of my favorites. Gravy and biscuit. Again a huge fluffy biscuit cut in half and smothered in real sausage gravy. I easily had enough gravy for at least two biscuits. The flavor again was like my grandmother herself had mad it for me. Again the gravy had steam rising from the plate and was an excellent choice.
Conclusion.
If you are anywhere within 50 miles of MT Airy NC or looking for a great place to plan your next trip, consider stopping through MT Airy and eating at Snappy Lunch! You would have to be crazy to pass this place up. My entire bill was less than 10$."

"Fantastic service our waitress was so sweet! The pork chop sandwich was incredible. Coca Cola was very crisp and refreshing.
They serve Gold Peak tea which I do not like."
